Christian Falcone
Editor-in-Chief
Christian Falcone is the editor-in-chief of the Review. He took over the role in April 2013.
Prior to that he spent more than six years as an associate editor of The Rye City Review.
Known for his investigative brand of journalism, Falcone has collected numerous awards for his reporting. Most notably, he took home honors for his coverage of the 2007 floods as well as Tropical Storm Irene.
In 2012, he uncovered the alleged corruption at Rye Golf Club that led to the prosecution, conviction and sentencing, of more than a year in state prison, of the club manager.
Prior to joining the Review in February 2007, Falcone reported for the Long Island Press and Queens Courier. He is a graduate of Hofstra University.

Mike Smith
Sports Editor
Mike Smith has been with the Review since 2007, serving as its sports editor.
Smith has been commended for his work by the New York Press Association, winning awards in 2008 for “Best Sports Feature” and again in 2009 as part of a team that put together “The Game,” a breakdown of the Harrison-Rye high school football rivalry, which won for “Best Special Section.”
His weekly column, “Live Mike,” offers his unique insights into a broad range of topics in the sports world.
He resides in Eastchester, New York, and spends most of his free time serving as the player-manager for a competitive men’s baseball team in New York City.

Sibylla Chipaziwa
Editorial Assistant
Sibylla Chipaziwa joined the Review in June 2015.
Prior to her hiring, she was the municipal meeting producer for LMCTV’s news show “The Local Live” based in Mamaroneck, New York. The United States is the fifth country Chipaziwa has lived in.
She graduated from SUNY Purchase with a B.A. in Journalism, while minoring in Political Science. Local politics is where she plans to establish herself as a multimedia reporter before moving on to cover global affairs.

Taylor Brown
General Assignment
Taylor Brown joined the Review this month. Brown graduated from Iona College, where she received her B.A. in Mass Communication. While attending Iona, Brown served as the features editor of Iona College’s only student newspaper, The Ionian. James Pero
Staff Writer
James Pero joined the Review in June 2015.
Pero is a graduate of SUNY Purchase, where he studied journalism, cutting his teeth as a managing editor of the school’s arts magazine, The Purchase Beat.
After graduating, Pero moved on to become a staff writer for news media startup Curiousmatic where he wrote about global finance and world conflicts.
Pero is a resident of Mount Vernon, New York and originally hails from Buffalo, New York.

Franco Fino
Staff Writer
Franco Fino joined the Review in June 2016.
Fino is a graduate of Manhattanville College, where he received a B.A. in Communications & Media Studies. While attending Manhattanville, Fino served as the executive editor of the college’s independent student news publication, Touchstone. Prior to joining the Review, he spent several months in 2015 working as a reporting intern at The Queens Tribune.
Fino currently resides in the Bronx, and enjoys spending much of his free time golfing in Westchester County, and leisure cooking his favorite Italian dishes.
