At a Special Session of the New Rochelle City Council Tuesday, the City Council voted to approve New Rochelle City Manager Kathleen Gill’s resignation. City Manager Gill’s last day is effective April 9.
“Kathleen Gill has submitted her letter of resignation in order to pursue other opportunities. She is grateful for her 27 years of service to the City of New Rochelle and is proud to have worked with so many hard-working and dedicated City employees. We thank Kathleen for her service to the City of New Rochelle and wish her the best in her future endeavors. As we begin the search for her successor, the City of New Rochelle remains committed to a comprehensive
and transparent search process to identify the next City Manager,” said NewRochelle Mayor Yadira Ramos-Herbert.
The city of New Rochelle will enlist an executive search firm to conduct a nationwide search, with the process to retain the search firm to begin
immediately. Pursuant to the City Charter, Deputy City Manager Adam Salgado will serve as acting city manager.
